As per the Ministry of Tourism, In 2017, Foreign Tourist Arrival and Non Residents of India 5.16 mn people were visited in India.

1. TAJ MAHAL 

The Taj Mahal was built in 1631-48 in Agra. Taj Mahal is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture, a styles that combines elements from Persian, Indian and Islamic architectural style. It is a symbol of true love because Taj Mahal was commissioned by famous Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan in the memory of his wife Mumtaz. The Taj Mahal was designated as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1983.

By Rail: Best way to reach Taj Mahal is by train. The main Railway station is Agra cantonment, there are two more station i.e; Raja-ki-Mandi and Agra Fort. Main Trains connecting Agra with Delhi are Palace on wheels, Shatabadi, Rajdhani And Taj Express.

By Air: Agra has its own Airport that is 7 km from the city.

By Road: There are regular Bus service from Agra to major cities. The main Bus stand is Idgah has a number of buses running for Delhi, Jaipur, Mathura, Fatehpur-sikri etc.
